LaBovick Law Group Obtains 8.2 Million Dollar Verdict on Behalf of Pedestrian Struck by Teenage Driver

Back on January 18, 2014, Mr. Jacobus was struck by a newly licensed teenage driver, as he attempted to cross Military Trail in West Palm Beach, FL, to catch a bus on his way home from work at Walmart.
As a result of this accident, Mr. Jacobus was hospitalized for 58 days and suffered numerous fractures, partial vision loss, and a frontal lobe brain injury that affected his speech.

The case was heard in front of the Palm Beach Circuit Court Judge, Honorable Lisa Small, and took seven days with a panel of six jurors to reach a verdict.
